FEASt lecture online

November 16th, 2009

FEASt Festival 2009 @ Florida International University.

If you were not able to attend the FEASt Festival at FIU, you can now download an enhanced podcast recording of my lecture.  The topic of the presentation was network-enabled coordination of laptop performance and featured the public debut of the MPG Carepackage.

The patches involved can be downloaded as well.  There are currently no help patches, so feel free to comment on this post if you have questions about this work.  The demo should work once you have placed the supporting files in the Cycling 74 folder of your Max installation.

  1. Hi Nathan,

Thank you for posting the lecture and the MPG carepackage. The patches have been very useful to me for the laptop ensemble piece I have been working on, which is my first and also the first time I have attempted to use networking to such an extent. I really liked your rhythm bank, too. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about the piece, etc.

  2. Thanks for the feedback, Kari! Glad to hear it is working for you.

I would love to hear what you are working on. If you get a chance to post something online, send me the link or simply reply with it here.
